Father’s Day Getaway Package at Three Village Inn
Take Dad on a NATURE GETAWAY this Father's Day. Enjoy a ride on a 27 passenger pontoon boat (the Discovery Wetlands Cruise meanders through an 88 acre wetlands starting Mid-May through October) or rent a kayak or bike. The Discovery boat leaves from Stony Brook Harbor across from the Three Village Inn on high tide only. The kayak can be picked up there as well. Bicycles can be picked up at the Three Village Inn. Fun for the Entire Family.
Includes: One night stay in a standard room, Hot breakfast for two in the Tavern, Half a day on kayak for two (2) or two (2) tickets on the Discovery Wetlands Cruise or two (2) bicycles. Complimentary Welcome Drink in our Tavern Bar. Midweek rates starting at $190.00 (Sunday-Thursday) and weekend rates starting at $240 (Friday-Saturday).

Ahh...Summetime cocktails...
You'll Need:
1 ounce Bacardi Razz Rum (or any Raspberry flavored Rum)
½ ounce Apple Pucker or apple schnapps
½ ounce peach schnapps
2 ounces Cabernet Sauvignon wine
1/2 ounce of both Cranberry & Pineapple Juices
Garnish with Fresh fruit
Method:
Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Stir and shake. Pour into a wine glass and garnish with fresh fruit.
Recipe of the Month
4 Fruit Sorbet Mirabelle
Ingredients:
3 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 cup lemon juice
1 cup pineapple juice
2 ripe bananas
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Method:
In a saucepan combine water and sugar. Cook over moderately low heat, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved. Bring the syrup to a boil, and cook for 3 minutes. Transfer the syrup to a bowl, and cool down. Refrigerate until fully cold.
Peel the bananas, cut them roughly, and put them in a bender. Add the lemon juice, pineapple juice, and orange juice. Add the granulated sugar, and combine. Add the cold syrup and combine again. Pass the mixture through a fine conical sieve and transfer it to an ice cream maker. Freeze the sorbet according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Brewed on Long Island by Greenport Brewing Co. this black ale puts the flavor of malt front & center. It has a mild hop character that balances strong notes of cocoa and hints of coffee. A full-bodied roasted treat that finishes dry. Pairs well with chocolate, BBQ, and fresh shellfish.
