Drink of the Month

Cake Batter Martini

Dessert with a kick!

You'll Need:

3oz Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka
1/2 oz White Creme de cacao
1/2 oz Amaretto
1/2 oz Godiva White Chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla ice cream melted (or buy a vanilla ice cream base)
Vanilla frosting
Rainbow sprinkles

Method:

Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake. Grab a martini glass and coat the rim in vanilla frosting. Dip the rimmed Martini glass into rainbow sprinkles. Pour the contents of shaker into the martini glass and ENJOY!

 

 

Recipe of the Month

Thanksgiving Stuffing

at Three Village Inn

You'll Need:

3 lbs. bulk sausage meat (not in casing)
1 cup minced celery
1 cup minced onion
1 cup minced carrot
1 lb shelled cooked whole chestnuts, broken into pieces
(the chestnuts can be purchased in cans)
2 lbs cornbread, cubed
4 lbs white bread, cubed
¼ cup fresh thyme, minced
½ cup fresh sage, minced
1 gallon turkey stock (chicken stock can also be used) to moisten the mixture
Salt and pepper to taste

In a large skillet cook the sausage meat over moderately high heat, stirring, until it is cooked through and the fat is rendered. Drain the sausage, reserving the fat, and transfer the sausage meat to a large bowl. In the skillet used to cook the sausage add the reserved fat, heat it over moderately high heat until it is hot, and add the celery, the onion, and the carrot. Cook the vegetables until they are softened. Add the sausage meat and combine the mixture well. Transfer the sausage mixture to a very large bowl and add the chestnuts, the cornbread, and the white bread. Add enough of the turkey stock to moisten the mixture and combine the mixture well. Add the thyme and the sage and salt and pepper to taste and combine the mixture well. Transfer the stuffing to a large buttered shallow baking pan, using 2 pans if necessary. Cover the pan tightly with buttered parchment paper. Bake the stuffing in a 325 degree oven for 30 minutes, or until it is slightly dry.

Serves about 20 people.
