Drink of the Month

Key Lime Martini

You'll Need:

3 oz Stoli Vanil
3 oz Pineapple Juice
1 Dash of Lime Juice
Graham Cracker Crust (found in most supermarkets)

Method:

Chill a martini glass. In a shaker filled with ice, add Stoli Vanil, pineapple juice & lime juice. Dip the rim of the martini glass in honey then press rim into graham cracker crust. Pour contents of shaker into martini glass and sip.

Enjoy dessert minus the guilt!

Guy's Recipe of the Month

Eggs Grand-Mère Andrée

In the summer I would visit my grandmother Andrée, and she would send me to the garden to pick the ripest tomatoes and some branches of tarragon and to the chicken coop to gather some eggs….that would be our lunch.


Ingredients:

2 large ripe tomatoes, rinsed, patted dry, and stems cut off
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ cup fresh picked tarragon leaves
4 organic eggs
salt and pepper
Few grains of sea salt


Method:

Cut four ¾-inch slices from each tomato and season them with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat an ovenproof skillet (preferably a non-stick skillet) over moderate heat and add the olive oil. Carefully transfer the tomato slices to the skillet, cook them on one side for about 1 minute, and flip them over.

Sprinkle the tarragon leaves over the tomatoes and crack the eggs over them. Transfer the skillet to a preheated 375 F. and bake the eggs until the whites have coagulated and the yolks are hot.

Remove the skillet from the oven, transfer the eggs and tomatoes gently to a large plate, and sprinkle them with the sea salt.
